What is Wireguard
Wireguard is the VPN application that Concordia Uses to Connect remotely allowing a remote Concordia owned computer to connect to operate as if they were at Concordia.
Do I need Wireguard?
Wireguard is an alternative to Remote Desktop and is intended to assist using applications that do not run optimally on remote desktop.
What are the limitations of Wireguard for CUE Use?
When using Wireguard on your CUE laptop at home, you will be unable to access network attached resources on your home network such as other computers, Apple TVs, Chromecasts, smart home devices, and network printers. Printers that connect to the computer via USB or Bluetooth will continue to work.
Is my Data Secure when using Wireguard?
All traffic sent between your laptop and CUE is encrypted with using ChaChar20 encryption.
Can I use Wireguard to access my Concordia Email in regions that restrict access to Google Services?
